Animal welfare and roughage dosage
Nowadays, agriculture is increasingly concerned with the well-being of the animals in the barn. Feeding the animals is an important part of delivering this welfare to the animal. It is scientifically proven that feeding roughage not only significantly reduces cannibalism among animals, but also reduces stress and improves feed intake.
To make things as easy as possible for the farmer, the TEWE team develops fully automatic solutions for supplying the animals with roughage or employment material - e.g. straw, straw pellets or maize silage.
