TEWE Elektronic has been developing and manufacturing weighing sensors for more than 20 years. These weighing sensors are also known as shear force transducers, weighing bars, pressure cells or load cells.These weight value sensors, which have been developed for various applications, operate with wire strain gauges in so-called full bridge circuits. A change in load causes a mechanical deformation of the support of the wire strain gauge, which results in a change in resistance of the sensor. This signal change is amplified and displayed by means of electronic devices.

The shown load cells are produced with utmost care by own production. Various weighing problems can be solved in combination with our amplifiers and display units. The weak sensor signals are amplified and shown in specifically developed devices, which are described below. The connection is realized through simple plugs. LED (light-emitting diode) and LCD (liquid crystal) displays are used for these devices.
